A few more posts from Costa Rica before I get back to the real world.
There are certain things in life that you would never experience without a little help. I was introduced to a new fruit on this trip, the kids called them momma chinos.
Mamon chino is the mamon's exotic cousin, with a red shell and soft spines with a large tasty grapelike fruit inside.
I have seen people selling bags of these fruits along the roads but never knew what they were. They go for about 7 bucks a pound if you can find them in the US, but in Costa Rica they are about a buck and a half.
